The NEURO Club in partnership with BetOnU presents, as part of its 2014-2015 Neuroscience Lecture Series:

"The Psychology of Addictions: How Gambling Addictions Affect the Brain!"
with Jon Grant, JD, MD, MPH.

Dr. Jon Grant, JD, MD, MPH, is a professor in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. He studies addictive, impulsive and compulsive disorders to discover their neural basis.On February 18th, he will share what his research has uncovered about neurocognitive correlations of impulsive-compulsive disorders. 

Come learn about topics including:

  • Who's more likely to develop addictions?
  • How long does it take for an addiction to develop?
  • How do addictions affect the brain?

The lecture will take place in the Biological Sciences Learning Center, Room 109
